Honor has finally launched its Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro smartphones in China. The 9X series will be coming without any notch on the display since it is equipped with an popup camera. The device has been priced at 1,399 Yuan for the base 4GB + 64GB storage option for the Honor 9X while the base variant of the Pro version, which is the 8GB RAM along with 128GB of storage is priced at 2,199 Yuan and will be available for purchase starting July 25.
Honor 9X is powered with 7nm Kirin 810 processor while the Pro variant is powered with a Kirin 980 processor. The processor is also equipped with liquid cooling technology to dissipate heat. The 9X comes with a glass and metal combination chassis and has an X-shaped pattern on the halls back. There is a 6.59-inch IPLS LCD display offering 19.5:9 aspect ratio with full HD+ resolution.
It has a 16MP pop-up selfie camera and has a 48MP main camera on the rear along with a 2MP secondary depth sensor. There is a 4000mAh battery on the back to power the handset and will run out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system based on EMUI 9.1.1.
Honor 9X pro has a triple camera setup on the back with a 48 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP super wide lens and a 2MP camera for depth effects.
Honor 9X is priced at 1,399 Yuan for the 4GB + 64GB variant, 1,599 Yuan for the 6GB + 64GB variant and the top 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at 1,899 Yuan.
Honor 9X Pro is priced at 2,199 Yuan for the 8GB + 128GB variant while the 8GB + 256GB variant priced at 2,399 Yuan. The Honor 9X will be available in Phantom Blue, Phantom Red, and Magic Night Black while the Pro variant will be available in Phantom Purple and Magic Night Black options.
