Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is all set to launch a new smartphone in its home country. The company has posted a teaser on Chinese social networking website Weibo announcing the launch of the device – Huawei Nova 4, which it will unveil on December 17.
From the teaser one can see that the Nova 4 will come with a design change as rather than featuring a notch to house the front camera, the device will have a hole in the display. Incidentally, one such handset was spotted in a subway carriage in China. From that image one could see the positioning of the front camera on the top left corner.
For those unaware, Samsung first showcased a smartphone Galaxy A8s with edge-to-edge screens on all the sides with a camera hole right on the display itself at the China launch event of Galaxy A9s and Galaxy A6s. And soon after Huawei, Samsung also confirmed the launch date of its Galaxy A8s handset to be December 10.
