Huawei Nova 5i Pro Announced Quad Rear Cameras

Huawei has announced its Nova 5i Pro smartphone in China today along with its Mate 20 X 5G as its first 5G Smartphone. The Nova 5i Pro is the sibling of the Nova 5i which was launched last month. This mid-range smartphone comes with a gradient back and will be available in Aurora Blue, Emerald Green and Phantom Black color options. Nothing about the global pricing or the availability is known as of now.

The handset comes with a punch-hole display like its smaller sibling and furthermore, the Nova 5i pro sports a quad-camera setup on the rear. There is a 6.26-inch (2340×1080 pixels) Full HD+ IPS display and is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 810 7nm SoC with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU which is an improvement from the Kirin 710 chipset used on the Nova 5i smartphone. The handset will be available in 6GB / 8GB RAM options along with 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage.

The company has also included a microSD card slot on the device to extend the storage further up to 256GB via microSD card slot. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear placed under the cameras. Out of the box, it will be coming with the latest Android 9 Pie Operating system with EMUI 9.1.1 on top. The device comes with a 4000mAh battery on the back with the support for 20W fast charging technology.

There is a 32MP selfie camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture while on the rear we can find a 48MP main camera with Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. There are a secondary 8MP Ultra Wide Angle lens and a 2MP aperture camera for macro shots and 2MP aperture camera for depth sensing.

Nova 5i Pro is priced at 2199 Yuan for the 6GB + 128GB of storage while the 8GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at 2499 Yuan. 8GB + 256GB of storage will be costing 2799 Yuan.
