LG introduced the all-new W-series to compete against the Chinese brands in the budget smartphone category. Along with the LG W10, the company also introduced LG W30 and LG W30 Pro smartphones. Earlier this year, Samsung launched the all-new Galaxy M series and in a way penetrated into the Indian budget smartphone market which is mostly occupied by the Chinese brands. While LG kept silent all these years, it is now following the same path with the new LG W-series.
LG W10 comes powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and is coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card for further expansion of storage on this device. Talking about the cameras, the device comes with dual camera setup on the rear featuring 13MP primary sensor with 2x zoom and a 5MP depth sensor for bokeh mode.
There is also an 8MP selfie camera on the front with LED flash. The LG W10 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and lacks fast charging support. While there is a circular fingerprint scanner on the rear, the device also supports face unlock using the front camera.
The LG W10 priced at Rs 8,999 is the most affordable smartphone in the new W-series. It comes with a glossy finish poly carbonate body and will be available in Tulip Purple and Smokey Grey color options. It will be available on Amazon India Starting from 3rd July.
