Mysterious Oppo Smartphone with Waterfall Screen Revealed

Oppo is getting ready with a new smartphone and the companies VP Brain Shen has shared few images of an unknown phone which features a dual-edge curved screen along with the largest curved display on a smartphone. The handset will be coming with a tall aspect ratio and furthermore, the display on this device is at 88 degrees and it is called a Waterfall Screen which is not going to feature any side borders.

We can make out that the device will be coming with very thin bezels on the top and bottom and the device seems to be pretty thin with a tall aspect ratio. We cannot find any front camera and can expect an under-display camera for this handset which was showcased by Oppo at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 Shanghai tech trade show in June.

This technology is about an embedded camera under the display of the phone mostly on the top portion which is invisible when the device is being used and will be appearing only when the front camera is accessed from the camera section. A recent leak suggested that Vivo is working on Vivo NEX 3 with an extremely curved display design but nothing has been mentioned about it as of now.

Oppo has teased about its upcoming smartphone with a Waterfall Screen which is a clear indication that the handset will be launched soon many be in another couple of month. As of now, there isn’t any information about the availability, Specs or pricing of the smartphone but we can expect more and more information to be revealed in the coming few weeks.
