OnePlus has launched the 55-inch OnePlus TV 55 Q1 and the OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro in India. This will be an India exclusive product to begin with and will eventually be rolled out to other countries. The television comes with a sleek minimalist design with a nearly bezel-less screen and a moving soundbar.
OnePlus TV comes with a 55-inch 4K QLED display. It sports a very high color range of NTSC 120%, which it claims is the highest in the world. What this means is that images and videos are always rendered in crisp quality and more vibrant colors. The display is also supported by Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. This ensures that images displayed on the OnePlus TV are constantly optimized on a scene-by-scene and even frame-by-frame basis, rendering more detail and better color accuracy to be displayed across all content displayed.
OnePlus TV comes with a powerful Gamma Color Magic chipset to help with picture processing and rendering. This platform, the company claims works by using a collection of carefully optimized algorithms to deliver smoother, clearer and more natural viewing experience with videos whether it’s ultra HD content streamed online or over satellite services.

The soundbar, placed at the bottom of the OnePlus TV, rolls out when the TV is turned out and rolls back in once turned off. OnePlus claims that this is done with nearly no sound made and rolls out in just 7 seconds.
This soundbar has a 50W 8-speaker setup with 4 full-range front-facing speakers, 2 front-facing tweeters for the highs and 2 rear subwoofers for the bass. The audio is powered by Dolby Atmos to be able to offer a cinematic sound experience.
The OnePlus TV 55 Q1 is powered by Android TV and runs on the company’s flagship OxygenOS. Like its smartphones, the OnePlus TV too, comes with minimal clutter in its operating system.
OnePlus has created OxygenPlay, which brings all the integrated content, making it easy to search and access. OnePlus TV also comes with the OnePlus Connect app, where a user can operate the TV seamlessly through the smartphone as well. What this means it, with Oxygen Play on your smartphone, you can use your smartphone as a trackpad to scroll through the TV, use it to control volume and even to type on the TV, avoiding navigating letter to letter on the TV keyboard using a remote.
OnePlus TV 55 Q1 is priced at Rs 69,990, while the OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro comes for Rs 99,990. Sale of the OnePlus TV will begin on September 28, 2019. Prime Early access sale on Amazon.in and sale on OnePlus Store begins at 12:00pm on September 28, 2019. Open sale on Amazon.in begins at 12:00am on September 29, 2019.
