OPPO has launched its latest smartphone, OPPO F15 in India. The latest addition to OPPO’s popular F series, F15 is a design marvel with just 7.9mm thickness and 172g weight. The sleek smartphone sports a laser light-reflective back cover adding to its aesthetic brilliance, making it an ideal smartphone for young consumers who like to flaunt their style.
The Oppo F15 gets a bigger 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 which means it is narrow yet tall. The display gets a small notch on the top to house the selfie camera on the top while there’s a noticeable chin at the bottom. Users also get an embedded in-display fingerprint sensor for quick bio-metric verification. However, the front camera also helps with a face unlock system.
Oppo F15 relies on a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage as standard. This is the same chipset from last year’s Oppo F11 Pro.
Oppo F15 gets a quad-camera system at the back. The F15 gets a 48MP main camera accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle camera as well as a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there’s a 16MP camera in the front. To keep the phone alive, Oppo has given it a 4000mAh battery that’s paired with Oppo’s 20W VOOC 3.0 fast-charging system.
Oppo F15 comes with ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Oppo hasn’t anything about an OS upgrade to Android 10 so far.
Oppo F15 will be available in Unicorn White and Lightening Black. Pricing of Oppo F15 8GB + 128GB variant is Rs. 19,990. The phone will go on sale in India from January 24 on Amazon and Flipkart.
