Oppo K1 Launched in India

OPPO India launched the new OPPO K1 smart phone and launched the new K series. The company’s new medium-range monitor is equipped with fingerprint display and AMOLED screen with built-in chromatic gradient. The sale of OPPO K1 will begin next week and it will be interesting to see how it will result in a very competitive market.

As for the specifications, OPPO K1 confirms the AMOLED Full HD + 6.41 inch water drop display, similar to what we saw in the first OPPO phone modal. It has a screen ratio to 91% body and is protected from Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The company also claims that the machine can withstand drops up to 1.6 meters.

It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable upto 256GB and in-display fingerprint scanner.  “K1 is our first smartphone from the globally successful K series here and we have adopted a multi-channel strategy for the K series in India,” said Will Yang, Brand Director, Oppo India. 

The smartphone features a 25MP front camera and a 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera with AI capabilities.  Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and fueled by a 3,600 mAh battery, the device runs ColorOS 5.2 Oppo’s operating system (OS) based on Android 8.1 Oreo. 

As for the pricing, the OPPO K1 will be available from 12th of this month as a Flipkart Exclusive with a price tag of Rs 16,990 and the phone will be featuring in Piano Black and Astral Blue color variants.
