OPPO has launched its new mid-range device OPPO K3 in India. Oppo K3 take on the recently launched Realme X, and Xiaomi’s Redmi K20 smartphones. The OPPO K3 shares most of the similarities when it comes to design and specifications with the aforementioned devices.
OPPO K3 features 6.5-inch Full Screen AMOLED FHD+ display that comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and achieves an aspect ratio of 91.1%. To achieve the full notch-less display, the Chinese OEM maker had implemented Popup Selfie camera on the top and an in-screen fingerprint sensor, for authentication. The fullscreen display is enclosed in a 3D gradient body finish on the back.
OPPO K3 comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC, which is an octa-core processor with clock speeds of up to 2.2GHz and has GPU Adreno 616 GPU. For gaming, the OPPO K3 comes with Game Boost 2.0 game engine, which claims to enhance resource-intensive games like PUBG’ gameplay.
OPPO K3 comes with dual rear cameras set up comprising of a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture paired with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear cameras on the OPPO K3 come with Ultra Night Mode 2.0. The Popup Camera has a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
OPPO K3 is kept alive by a 3765mAh battery, which further supports the company’s VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology. The OPPO K3 ships with ColorOS 6, which is based on Google’s latest Android 9.0 Pie.
OPPO K3 launched in India will be available in Nebula Purple, Morning White and, Secret Black color variants and pricing of the OPPO K3 starts from Rs. 16,990 for the 6GB + 64GB variant and 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999. And, the device will be an Amazon Exclusive and the sale starts on July 23.
