Realme has announced two new variants of its popular Realme C1 budget smartphones for the Indian market. The new variants offer more RAM and storage along with affordable prices and they will be available on Flipkart and Realme.com. To recall, the Realme C1 was announced with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage last year. The Realme C1 (2019) will now be offered in two more variants – 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32GB.
Interestingly, the new 2GB + 32GB configuration has been priced at Rs 7,499, which is also what the 2GB + 16GB variant costs on Flipkart and Realme’s online store right now. To recall, this version of the Realme C1 was priced at Rs 6,999 initially and later saw a price hike to Rs 7,999. It has since been available for Rs 7,499 in India. As of now, it is unclear whether Realme will retire the old version of the Realme C1 or will instead give it a price cut. Meanwhile, the 3GB + 32GB model will cost Rs 8,499 in India.
As mentioned, the new variants of the Realme C1 will be available on Flipkart and Realme.com. The Realme C1 (2019) models will see its first sale on February 5 starting 12pm. Realme also announced that the new Realme C1 variants will be available through offline channels accross retailers in India soon. On Flipkart and Realme’s online store, the original 2GB + 16GB model is still listed, but it’s probably wise not to buy that now that the company has launched new variants.
