Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones in the Indian market. Today, the company launched the third smartphone under the Redmi Note 7 series. The new Redmi Note 7S is the same Redmi Note 7 launched in China. Apart from the dual camera setup on the rear, the Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 (Indian version) smartphones share similar specifications. Just like the other Redmi Note 7 devices, the new Redmi Note 7S also comes with the glass sandwich design.
Both the front and rear of the device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Redmi Note 7S sports 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display with Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU. The Redmi Note 7S comes in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie based MIUI 10 out of the box.
Redmi Note 7s comes with 48MP + 5MP dual cameras on the rear and a 13MP single camera on the front. Unlike the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the new Redmi Note 7S uses 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor. The camera app comes loaded with auto scene detection, AI Portrait mode and more.
Redmi Note 7S comes with a hybrid SIM card slot where the users have to choose between secondary SIM or the MicroSD card. It also comes with a P2i nano-coating which make the device splash resistant. It will be available in Sapphire Blue, Onyx Black, and Ruby Red color options. Pricing of Redmi Note 7s 3GB + 32GB will be INR 10,999 and 4GB + 64GB will be INR 12,999.
