Samsung has launched its much awaited Galaxy Note 10 series in the US. For the first time Korean tech giant Samsung has unveiled not one but two Galaxy Note 10 devices Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones. These Galaxy Note 10 devices from Samsung share identical specs and design; nonetheless, there are significant differences as well. There are 5G models of these Galaxy Note 10 devices introduced by the company, which include Galaxy Note 10 5G and Note 10+ 5G.
Galaxy Note 10 devices come in two different screen sizes, which include a 6.3-inch Cinematic Infinity-O FHD+ display (2280×1080) on the Galaxy Note 10 and the Note 10+ packs in a 6.8-inch Cinematic Infinity QHD+ display (3040×1440). Both the displays are said to be HDR10+ certified and are said to be TUV Rheinland certified meaning the displays on these Note 10 devices will reduce the effects of blue light emitted from the super big screens on the flagships.
Galaxy Note 10 devices come with the newly introduced Samsung Exynos 9825 SoC(built on 7nm process) for the global variants. In terms of storage, the Galaxy Note 10 is offered with 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. And, the Note 10+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage. Additionally, the Galaxy Note 10+ comes with microSD expansion as well. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 10 5G will be available with 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage variant and the larger Note 10+ 5G would be coming with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage as well.
Both the Galaxy Note 10 devices share same camera sensor options featuring triple rear cameras; however, the Galaxy Note 10+ has an additional advantage with fourth DepthVision camera as well. The triple rear cameras on both the Galaxy Note 10 devices include a 16MP Ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture coupled with a 12MP wide-angle camera with dual aperture modes (f/1.5 and f/2.4 mode) and a 12MP telephoto camera with an f/2.1 aperture. As stated earlier, the Note 10+ comes with a VGA DepthVision camera as well. Upfront, both the flagships come with a 10MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
Galaxy Note devices aren’t complete with the S-Pen, and the new flagships also have one. The new Bluetooth enabled S-Pen on the Note 10 devices is said to be IP68 water resistant with up 10 hours of battery standby time.
Galaxy Note 10 is kept alive by a 3500mAh battery and the larger Galaxy Note 10+ packs in a decent 4300mAh battery. While both the devices support Samsung’s Super Fast Charging, the Galaxy Note 10+ has an additional advantage of Super Fast Charging 2.0, which utilizes 45W quick charge, wherein the adapter is sold separately.
As for the pricing, the Galaxy Note 10 starts at $949 for the LTE model and $1049 for the 5G model. The Galaxy Note 10+ starts at $1099 for the LTE model and $1299 for the 5G variant. There are several color options for these Galaxy Note 10 models; the Galaxy Note 10+ will be available in Aura Glow, Aura Black, Aura White, and Aura Blue color variants. And, the Galaxy Note 10 will be featuring in Aura Glow, Aura Black, Aura White, Aura Pink, and Aura Red variants. And available from August 23 in US.
