In the last couple of months, there are several leaks about the Redmi Go smartphone. It will be first ever Android Go edition smartphone from Xiaomi. While the company is yet to officially launch the Xiaomi Redmi Go smartphone, the complete details of the device including design and specifications are now leaked online. Xiaomi is soon expected to launch the Redmi Go in Southeast Asian markets.
There are already many Android Go smartphones on the market, including Samsung and Huawei Smartphones. Although Xiaomi sold smartphones at a low price, it is interesting how the company will sell its first Android Go smartphone. When talking about the device, the design and specifications of the device look similar to the two-year-old Redmi 5A smartphone. It features a polycarbonate body with a 5-inch HD screen (1280 x 720 pixels) on the front.
Under the hood is the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It comes included with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 128GB. In terms of optics, the Redmi Go sports an 8MP camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP selfie camera on the front with f/2.2 aperture.
