Honor 8C with a dual camera setup, notch display launched

Honor has launched, yet another budget smartphone, the Honor 8C with features like notch display, all glass unibody design and more. Here are the complete details on the Honor 8C, the latest budget smartphone from Huawei’s sub smartphone brand. The Honor 8C will be the successor to the Honor 7C.

Price and availability

The Honor 8C will be available in Platinum Gold, Nebula Purple. Midnight Black and Aurora Blue color. The smartphones come with 4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB internal storage for 1099 Yuan (Rs 11,000), and 1399 Yuan (Rs 14,000), respectively. The device will go on sale from the 16th of October.

Honor 8C specifications

The Honor 8C is equipped with a 6.26 “IPS IPS LCD, high resolution, 19: 9 aspect ratio, 2.5D Arc. The Honor 8C is the first smartphone to be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, with 4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage space, with a small SD card slot up to 256 GB.

The rear of the unit features a dual camera with a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front side, the device has a 8 megapixel camera. Both camera units have custom LEDs that support 1080p video recording. These cameras also provide features such as face opening and portrait mode.

The Honor 8C is equipped with a 4000mAh Li-Ion battery with a mini USB port for charging and data synchronization via a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone jack. The phone works on Android Oreo 8.1 with custom EMUI skin on top. As of now, there is no information about the launch of Honor 8C in India. However, the company expects to launch the 8X Honor program in the next few days.
