Lenovo’s much-awaited triple camera phone– the Lenovo Z5s– will launch in China on December 18. The news was shared by company’s VP Chang Cheng through a series of posters posted on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. Cheng had earlier announced that the phone would launch on December 6 but that didn’t happen. He has now posted two new posters that confirm the launch date.
The posters confirm that the phone will have three cameras at the back. The photo shows the cameras aligned vertically on the beautiful gradient color glass back of the phone. There is a space between the dual cameras and third cameras lens. The LED flash resides below the third lens. The second poster vouches on the speed of phone.
Other leaks in past have revealed that the phone will also have a unique display. The device is expected to sport a nearly bezel-less display with the front camera placed in the top center position.
A Lenovo device with model number Lenovo L7807 had appeared on TENAA listing recently. It was later confirmed by the company to be the Lenovo Z5s. The listing revealed a 6.3-inch drop-shaped notch display, triple camera set up on the back, a 3,120mAh battery. Related-rumours also suggest that the phone may run on Snapdragon 636 processor inside with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
