Back in April this year, HMD Global launched the Nokia X71 smartphone in Taiwan. It is the company’s first ever smartphone with a punch-hole display. The company scheduled a launch event on June 6th to launch a new smartphone. Based on the leaks, HMD Global might launch the Nokia X71 in the global markets as Nokia 6.2. It is rumored to be priced around USD 290 which is much lower the price of the Nokia X71 in Taiwan. Also, we hope the company doesn’t opt for the same old Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform offered with the Nokia X71 smartphone.
The Nokia X71 came with a 6.4-inch PureDisplay display with Full HD+ resolution and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. The punch-hole display with a small cut-out for front camera offers 93% screen-to-body ratio. It came powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the Nokia X71 sports triple camera setup featuring 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 120-degree FoV, and a 5MP depth sensor.
For selfies, there is a 16MP in-screen camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The device also sports a circular fingerprint scanner on the rear. It is also part of Android One family and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
