OnePlus has officially launched OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. The OnePlus 7 is actually the successor to OnePlus 6T. The company also made little changes in terms of design. In terms of specifications, the new OnePlus 7 packs the latest and greatest hardware available in the market. It comes with a curved glass body with a slight curve on the rear. The OnePlus 7 will be available in Mirror Gray and Red color options.
OnePlus sports 6.41″ Optic AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. This is exactly the same display the company offered with the last year’s Oneplus 6T smartphone. Under the hood, the OnePlus 7 comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform built on 7nm FinFET node. The SoC featuring Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU offers better performance and consumes less power than its predecessor.
The device packs 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 flash storage. The OnePlus 7 along with OnePlus 7 Pro are the world’s first smartphones to launch with UFS 3.0 flash storage. Coming to the cameras, the OnePlus 7 sticks with the dual rear camera setup, It sports 48MP Sony IMX586 primary camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera comes loaded with EIS+OIS, PDAF, 4K recording at 60fps, Slow-mo video recording up to 480 fps.
For selfies, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 pro share the same 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with 1μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and EIS. However, the selfie camera is embedded into the waterdrop notch on the front of the OnePlus 7 smartphone.
Talking about the pricing, the base variant of the OnePlus 7 with 6GB + 128GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 32,999. The high-end 8GB + 256GB of onboard storage costs Rs 37,999. It will be available starting next month via Amazon.in and OnePlus.in websites.
