OPPO has finally unveiled its latest Reno series in India with the launch of its newest flagship the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom today at an event in Delhi. The company has also launched the standard OPPO Reno variant as well, which also comes with an identical design language. After the successful business from its budget to higher midrange smartphones in the country, the company has finally brought its flagship series with OPPO Reno 10x Zoom.
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, which was showcased initially at MWC, this year. The flagship Reno 10x Zoom features triple rear cameras on the back comprising of a 48MP Sony IMX 586 Primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle sensor that has f/2.2 aperture and a telephoto sensor with f/3.0 aperture. These three rear lenses on the back work together to achieve a 10x Hybrid Zoom effect without loss in the image quality. The company has claimed that this new 10x Hybrid Zoom tech features a mix of Fusion, image fusion technology wherein the three rear lenses interchange to create smoother zoom transition.
We have seen the pop-up selfie cameras earlier in the OPPO line-up, but this new Shark Fin Rising structure is indeed beautiful to look at when compared to the earlier pop-up camera phones. The shark fin structure rises similar to popup beholding a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0. OPPO Reno 10x Zoom features a massive 6.6-inch AMOLED notch-less display with a screen to body ratio of 93.1% protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon’s latest 855 SoC, which is built on industry’s most recent 7nm process that is further paired with Adreno 640 GPU. The device comes in two storage variants that include 6GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant.
As for the pricing, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom starts at Rs 39,990 for the 6GB+128GB variant and the larger 8GB+256GB variant of the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is priced at Rs 49,990. Both the OPPO Reno devices are available exclusively on Flipkart on June 7th.
