Realme with its first Quad Rear camera phones the company has introduced its Realme 5 series smartphones in the country. Realme has launched two Realme 5 series phones including the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro smartphones. These new smartphones ship with quad rear cameras. Apart from the new cameras, these phones also feature the latest Snapdragon processors as well. While the Realme 5 series comes in the budget to mid-range segment, the Realme 5 Pro smartphone comes in as higher premium mid-range device.
Realme 5 Pro carries it’s signature diamond-cut design with the new nanoscale textures, including the 3D body design. It is further said to have an ergonomic design to have a comfortable grip as well. The Realme 5 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch FHD screen featuring a dewdrop notch display, which the company calls it ‘Mini drop design.’ The FHD display also achieves a screen-to-body-ratio of 90.8% and is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3+.
Realme 5 Pro comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE processor built on 10nm FinFET process with clock speeds of up to 2.3GHz. It is further backed by Qualcomm’s Adreno 616 GPU and promises to deliver 35% more than the previous generation processor when it comes to performance.
Device comes with 48MP AI Quad Camera setup on the back. The 48MP Sony IMX586 camera sensor is the primary sensor, and it comes with an aperture of f/1.7. Another one is 8MP ultra-wide angle HD camera with an aperture f/2.25 that can capture 119-degree ultra-wide-angle field of view. The device also comes with an ultra-macro lens with a 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 4cm Focus Distance. Since its a quad rear camera setup, the device also has a 2MP Portrait lens as well, which comes with an aperture f/2.4. Mini drop notch comes with an AI-powered 16MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0, which further features AI Beautification and HDR modes as well.
Realme 5 Pro ships with Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out-of-the-box. The Realme 5 Pro is further powered by a decent 4035mAh battery that supports company’s VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. The company also provides 5V/4A adapter in the box as well.
Realme 5 Pro starts at Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant and the 6GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 14,999 and the larger 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999. And also, the device will be available in Crystal Blue and Crystal Green color variants. First sale of the Realme 5 Pro is said to go on 4th of September on Flipkart and Realme.
