Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro are set to be launched on 20th of August and now few key specifications have been revealed officially. Both these smartphones have been listed on Flipkart that reveals hardware along with the design of this 5-series phones. Both the devices are confirmed to be launched with quad rear cameras and Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth also suggested that the Realme 5 will be World’s first Quad Camera Smartphone priced under Rs.10,000 suggesting the pricing of the phone.
Realme 5 Pro will be coming with 48MP Sony IMX586 main camera sensor. Both the devices were already confirmed to come with quad rear cameras along with the 48MP primary sensor on the Realme 5 Pro and the listing shows sensor as well as details the rear camera setup. The Pro variant will be coming with a 119-degree wide-angle lens along with a 4cm focus Super Macro lens and a Portrait Lens.
The device will be also sporting a VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology and said to be charging up to 55 percent of the battery in 30 minutes. The Flipkart listing has highlighted that the handset will be coming with lightning-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon. A tweet from the official Realme account reveals that the phone will be coming with the best mid-range chipset in its segment.

Realme 5 will be coming with the main sensor of 1.25-micron pixel size with an f/1.8 lens and will have 119-degree wide-angle lens, a super macro lens, and a portrait lens. It will also be coming with a 5000mAh battery and the listing shows that it comes with a new “best-in-segment” Qualcomm SoC and it is expected to be Snapdragon 665 SoC considering the recent Geekbench listing.
The microsites also reveal diamond-cut finish for the both he handsets like we have seen on the Realme 3i but the fingerprint sensor on the rear can be seen only on the Realme 5 indicating that the Pro variant might come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
