Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will be launching the handset on 21st of August which a day earlier than Realme 5 series. The Mi A3 is based on the Mi CC9e bit runs stock Android and is also a part of Android One program. The handset will come with a fingerprint scanner embedded under the display and will be powered with Snapdragon 665.
Mi A3 will be coming with 6.01-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display and has a triple camera setup on the rear with a main 48MP camera along with 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. To power the handset there is a 4030 mAh battery on the back with the support for 18W fast charging. Well, Xiaomi might also launch Mi A3 Pro at the launch event but nothing has been confirmed about it yet.
Xiaomi Mi A3 is the successor of the Mi A2 smartphone that was launched in India last year and is also an Android One powered device. Talking about the specs of the device, the Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with 6.0-inch AMOLED HD+ display, with 1520 x 720 pixels resolutions. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with 4Gb of RAM. It will be made available in 64GB as well as 128GB of onboard storage which can be extended further via microSD card slot. There is a 48MP primary sensor backed with an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, which is further accompanied by a 2MP depth-sensing camera. On the front, we can find a 32MP sensor housed inside the notch.
