Earlier this year, Xiaomi made Redmi as an independent brand in China. Today, Redmi is entering the flagship smartphone segment with the all-new Redmi K20 series. As expected, the company announced Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphones. The devices come with a 3D curved glass body and feature gradient film to offer beautiful looking gradient finish.
Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. While the thin bezel on top measures just 2.1mm, the bottom bezel thickness is reduced to 3.8mm. With no notch or bezels, the display on this device offers 91.9% screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with VDE certified protection to block harmful Blue light and also supports hardware-based DC Dimming feature. Under the hood, the device comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU.
Redmi also added Game Turbo 2.0 for enhanced performance while playing games. The device is also equipped with 8-layer Graphite Heat Sink for better heat dissipation. On the rear, the Redmi K20 Pro sports triple camera setup featuring 48MP wide-angle sensor with f/1.75 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. While the device supports 960 fps slow-motion video recording, there is no OIS for any of three sensors. For selfies, the pop-up camera on the top features a 20MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and comes with a sapphire lens.
Redmi K20 Also Come with Same Specification as K20 Pro, but K20 Comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 and Kryo 470 CPU Adreno 618 GPU. Unlike the Pro variant, the Redmi K20 only supports 18W fast charging while K20 Pro support 27W. The devices will be available in Carbon Fiber Black, Flame Red, and Glacier Blue color options. Talking about the pricing, the Redmi K20 with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1999 and CNY 2099 respectively.
Redmi K20 Pro with 6GB + 64GB is priced at CNY 2499. The 6GB + 128GB is priced at CNY 2599, 8GB + 128GB is priced at CNY 2799 and 8GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 2999. Both the Redmi K20 smartphones will be available from early June in China.
