The Korean giant Company Samsung announced the launch of another device called Galaxy A9 Pro in South Korea. The device is the Galaxy A8s version (SM-G8870) introduced in China a few weeks ago. The smartphone is equipped with a beautiful, blue, gray and green back cover, priced at 5,99,500 won (about 38,000 rupees) and available for sale on February 28.
The handset will be sporting a 6.4-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D LCD display and will be having a 3400mAh battery on the back with adaptive fast charging. Under the hood, there is an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 SoC with Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 616 GPU. Out of the box, it will come with Android 8.1 Operating system and will be getting further updates when available.
On the camera front, there is a 24MP primary rear camera with LED flash, a 10MP telephoto lens and also a 5MP depth camera. There is also a 24MP front-facing camera for selfies. The onboard storage is 128GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 512GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone supports Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity and WI-Fi 802.11, VHT80, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity options. There is a fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy A9 Pro to enhance the security levels. There isn’t a 3.5 mm audio jack on the device, instead, a USB Type-C Audio port is provided.
