Samsung has finally launched the new Galaxy S10 phone of this year. Korea’s giant technology company launched three models instead of two Galaxy S10s – the Galaxy S10, the S10 Plus and the Galaxy S10E at low prices. Unlike the previous ancestors – the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 smartphones – all look similar in design, this time Samsung has re-designed three Galaxy S10 devices with the launch of the new Infinity O screen. Presented at the developer conference held last year. The Galaxy S10 smartphones maintain an effective design, with the handset very high, with the chin on the front of the screen dramatically, and of course no limit – thanks to the new Infinity O screen.
Galaxy S10 and the S10 Plus, which look relatively identical in terms of design and build, however, the cameras and the display sizes vary. Both the devices feature Samsun’s new Dynamic AMOLED (successor to company’s Super AMOLED) Quad HD+ Infinity O displays developed by Samsung with screen sizes of 6.3-inch and 6.1-inch respectively. These displays are further covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Samsung has implemented in–display fingerprint scanner and had removed the conventional fingerprint on the rear. The Ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor, which the company calls it is said to be an advanced fingerprint scanner with 3D scanning functionality. Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus also feature face recognition authentication as well.
Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ devices are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 7nm chipset and also with the Samsung’s new Exynos 9 series-based Exynos 9820 8nm chipset. The S10 and S10 Plus come equipped with standard 8GB of RAM followed by 128GB and 512GB of onboard storage respectively. Besides the larger S10 Plus also comes with a 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, which is the first phone to have such a massive amount of storage from Samsung.
The triple rear cameras on the S10 devices include a 12MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, which has OIS support, a 12MP wide angle sensor with an aperture of f/1.5 that supports dual aperture and dual pixel OIS and lastly a 16MP ultra-wide 123-degree camera which has an aperture of f/2.2.
Galaxy S10 Plus features dual selfie cameras sitting under the Infinity O display wherein there’s a 10MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP sensor for live focus that has an aperture f/2.2. The Galaxy S10, however, features a single 10MP selfie shooter on its Infinity O display. These selfie cameras are also capable of 4K video recording.
Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus smartphones feature in three color variants that include Prism White, Prism Green and Prism Black and the larger 12GB/1TB S10 Plus also features in Luxurious Ceramic Black and Ceramic Color variants as well. As for the pricing, it starts at $899 for Galaxy S10, $999 for Galaxy S10+ and $749 for Galaxy S10e.
