Twitter is working to make it easier for users to seamlessly toggle between showing the best and top or latest tweets first in feed. A select number of iOS users are part of a new test that would add a dedicated button on the home screen letting them switch between the two on the fly rather than diving deep into the app settings. Twitter, to recall, already allows you to disable the “best tweets first” feed, but the option is buried in the settings.
“Sometimes you want to see the latest Tweets, first. We’re testing a way for you to make it easier to switch your timeline between the latest and top Tweets. Starting today, a small number of you will see this test on iOS,” Twitter said announcing the new feature.
Twitter has not confirmed if the feature would be available to more users (including those on Android) in the days to come. It has also not confirmed if the feature would be coming out of testing anytime soon. Whether or not the ability to switch between the best and latest tweets directly from the home screen would be part of a stable Twitter update is something that only time will tell.

Twitter has been actively working on new features and is also said to be planning to remove the button that allows users to like tweets. It is also said to be working on a feature that would finally allow users to edit their tweets. But again there is no definite timeline for when these features would make their way to the mainstream audience.
