Vivo has introduced its first smartphone of the calendar year. The company has launched the S1 Pro in India with a diamond-shaped camera set-up at the back of the phone which features quad cameras with a primary 48MP lens at the heart of the camera array. At the front of the phone, there’s a 32MP camera for clicking selfies.
Apart from this, the Vivo S1 Pro also comes packing some impressive specs, and a design that Vivo expects would help the phone stand out from the crowd. The S1’s entry into the Indian market follows the successful launch of S1 back in August 2019, and as such makes it the company’s second offering under the S-series portfolio.
S1 Pro features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and FHD+ resolution. Because of sporting a Super AMOLED screen, the S1 Pro also supports Always on Display’ at low power consumption. S1 Pro pairs a configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 SoC.
S1 Pro brings with itself a 48MP lens-based quad-camera set-up enclosed in a diamond-shaped enclosure. The primary lens in this set-up is sat next to an 8MP camera that covers wide-angle and 2MP lenses for macro and 2MP Bokeh shots. S1 pro has a 4500mAh battery that has been paired with Vivo’s 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology to help the device charge.
Vivo has launched the S1 Pro in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage at a price of Rs 19,990. The device has been made available in three color options Mystic Black, Jazzy Blue and Dreamy White.
