Vivo launched the new Vivo X27 and Vivo X27 Pro smartphones yesterday in China. Earlier this month, the company launched the Vivo V15 & Vivo V15 Pro smartphones with a pop-up selfie camera in India. Now, the new Vivo X27 Pro smartphone comes with the same 32MP pop-up selfie camera and a true bezel-less display. Both the devices run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie based FunTouch OS 9 out of the box.
Compared to the Vivo X27, the Vivo X27 Pro comes with slightly better hardware. While the Vivo X27 sports triple camera setup on the top left corner, the Vivo X27 Pro features it in the middle. Both these devices use the sixth-gen in-display fingerprint scanner which comes with 27% more fingerprint detection area and increases the recognition speed by 50%. The devices also come equipped with Heat Pipe to control the temperature. There is a dedicated button for the Jovi AI assistant.
Both the devices are powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. Talking about the Vivo X27, the device comes with 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In terms of optics, the Vivo X27 sports 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor along with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5MP depth sensor.
For selfies, there is a pop-up camera featuring a 16MP sensor on the front. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. Coming to the Vivo X27 Pro, the device sports 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with the 20.5:9 aspect ratio and comes only in 8GB + 256GB storage variant. The X27 Pro comes with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera along with dual tone LED flash.
On the rear, it sports a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP night vision sensor. Even the devices come with different screen sizes, they are backed by a 4,000mAh battery and supports 22.5W Vivo FlashCharge technology. While the Vivo X27 pricing starts CNY 3198, the Vivo X27 Pro will be retailing for CNY 3998.
