Lenovo will be unveiling its 2019 flagship smartphone tomorrow in China. The recently posted teaser revealed the complete first look of the all-new Lenovo Z6 Pro smartphone. Today, Chang Cheng, the company’s VP and head of mobile business group, has revealed the complete specifications of the device. We already know the device to come with waterdrop notch display on the front and quad camera setup on the rear. Along with the standard Lenovo Z6 Pro, the company also teased to launch the 5G variant featuring the Snapdragon X50 5G modem.
The 6.39-inch waterdrop notch display on the front will also offer Full HD+ resolution. The device offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS2.1 flash storage. We also expect the Lenovo Z6 Pro to come with a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. It runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie based ZUI 11 out of the box. Even the Motorola smartphones launching in China also offer the same ZUI.
The quad camera setup on the rear includes 48MP + 16MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors. The primary 48MP sensor will be the Sony IMX586 sensor which is also used on several other Chinese flagship devices. It also offers an ultra-wide-angle sensor to capture images with 123-degree field-of-view. The device is currently available for registrations on JD.com, Tmall, and Lenovo’s official website.
