Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy Tab S5 alongside the Galaxy Note 10 series in the coming few months. A new Samsung device with the model number SM-T865 got listed on the Geekbench. Since the last year’s Galaxy Tab S4 came with the model number SM-T835, we expect the newly spotted SM-T865 to be the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5. Geekbench listing confirms the tablet to come powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform built on 7nm FinFET node.
It is also mentioned to come with 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The Galaxy Tab S5 has scored 3506 on single-core and 9788 on multi-core tests. As of now, there is no official information about the upcoming Galaxy tablet. The recent reports suggest Galaxy Note 10 to official make its debut on August 10th. We also expect the Galaxy Tab S5 to get unveiled in the same month. Even the Galaxy Tab S4 was launched a few weeks ahead of the Galaxy Note 9 launch in 2018.
Earlier this year, the company launched mid-range Galaxy Tab S5e with no S Pen support. However, it still came with Super AMOLED display with WQXGA resolution, quad speakers, and DeX support. With the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5, we also the company to offer the same full-screen experience. The Galaxy Tab S5e is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. It was launched in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively.
