Samsung launched Galaxy A80 in India. The latest Galaxy A-series phone will be available for pre-booking in the country from July 22 to July 31. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A80 back in April. The smartphone features a rotating camera setup that enables almost a bezel-less display experience.
The Galaxy A80 sports a new Infinity Display without any notch or front-facing camera, which is the company’s first smartphone to feature the new full-screen display. The display doesn’t feature a speaker grille as well; instead, the sound generates under the display. The Galaxy A80 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080×2400) Super AMOLED display.
Integrating the rotating camera with slide mechanism is something new that Samsung has done with the Galaxy A80. This allows users to capture selfies with the rear cameras as well. Specifications of the cameras, the A80 features a 48MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an ultra-wide 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 3D depth camera as well.
Galaxy A80 is powered by the newly announced Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G, which is focused on enhanced gaming capabilities and the device is also equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Galaxy A80 features On-screen fingerprint sensor for authentication, and the device is kept alive by a 3700mAh battery that also comes with 25W Super Fast Charging support.
The Galaxy A80 ships with Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box and the device will be featuring in Phantom Black, Angel Gold, and Ghost White color variants. The Pricing of Galaxy A80 8GB + 128GB is Rs 47,990 and The Galaxy A80 will go on sale starting August 1 across retail stores in India, e-Shop, Samsung Opera House and major leading online channels.
