Vivo is all set to launch the V15 Pro, it’s second pop-up selfie camera phone, in India today at 12 noon at an event in New Delhi. Meanwhile, Vivo has different plans for its home market. The company’s ten-day-old subsidiary iQOO has been teasing to launch its first smartphone soon. Looks like the unnamed iQOO phone has finally got a launch date. The company’s latest teaser reveals that the Vivo iQOO will go official next month, on March 1.
The iQOO smartphone will be a premium handset the teasers have revealed. According to past rumours and leaks reveal that the iQOO smartphone will come packed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with whopping 12GB RAM. Rumours also suggest that the iQOO smartphone will feature 44W fast-charging support which means this Vivo charging technology will work must faster than any other fast charging tech offered by companies like Huawei and OnePlus. Huawei has a 40W fast charge support, while OnePlus’ dash charging comes with 30W charging standards.
Rumours further suggest that the Vivo iQOO will come packed with a huge amount of storage space — 256GB. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a big 4,000 mAh battery. The good news is, unlike most other Vivo phones, the upcoming iQOO smartphone will bring USB-C support. Rumours so far haven’t revealed much details about the camera of the smartphone besides the fact one of the three cameras sitting on the back panel of the phone will support Super HDR mode. The Vivo iQOO is also expected to come packed with an always-on UD fingerprint scanner. Considering the specs, we believe the Vivo iQOO will be a gaming-centric smartphone.
