Nubia is already selling its latest Red Magic 3 gaming smartphone in China and Europe. As announced earlier, the company launched it in the Indian market yesterday. While Nubia launched the first-gen Red Magic smartphone in India, it skipped launching the Red Magic Mars. In India, the Red Magic 3 will be competing the newly launched Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone. The gaming aesthetics with the LED strip on the rear.
The Red Magic 3 is also the first smartphone to come with a built-in cooling fan. It also includes best in class liquid cooling technology. The RGB lighting on the rear of the device can be customized just like on the gaming computers. Red Magic 3 sports a 6.65-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with HDR playback support and 90Hz refresh rate. Earlier to this, the ASUS ROG Phone and OnePlus 7 Pro are only smartphones to launch in India with the 90Hz display.
Device comes powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage. It sports a 48MP Sony IMX586 Single camera on the rear with 1.6µm pixel size and f/1.7 aperture. There is a 16MP front-facing camera with 2.0µm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture.
It is backed by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery and supports 27W fast charging based on Quick Charge 4.0 technology. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and includes GameBoost for enhanced gaming performance with no other distractions. The hexagon-shaped fingerprint scanner can be seen on the rear of the device.
Pricing of Red Magic 3 8GB + 128GB is Rs. 35,999 and 12GB + 256GB is Rs. 46,999. Both the variants will be on sale starting June 27th on Flipkart.
